How to Order

When to Order

Due to every piece of stationery being handmade, I always advise that your stationery should be ordered no later than 5 months before your wedding.

If your wedding falls at a particularly busy time of year, i.e. Summer or Christmas, then you should obviously book in as soon as you know you want to use Pink Treacle.

Some orders have been produced in shorter time scales, but it is a risk to leave it too late.

Placing an Order

Choose your design and colour.  If you require a colour match to anything in particular, i.e. bridesmaid dress, a sample swatch will need to be given to Pink Treacle before a sample can be made for you.

If you have already received a sample and would like to place an order, then please contact me and I will send you out an order form.

All order forms must be filled out correctly, signed and dated and either returned by post or taken to Pink Treacle.

Alternatively you may arrange a consultation with me to go through everything.

There is no minimum order and if you require one invitation, you can have one.

If you need more invitations at a later date then please let me know and I will get them to you a.s.a.p.

Price List

All prices can be seen with the collection.

If you require your guests’ names to be typed and printed into each invitation insert then you will need to add an additional 25p to the cost of each invitation.

To put your guests names onto the placecards, you will need to add an additional £15.00 for under 100 guests and a further £10.00 for every 100 after that.

A standard white envelope is included in the invitation and thank you card price but upgrades to a luxury envelope can be made at an extra cost of 10p – 15p per envelope.


All information that is not specifically in your order form such as Order of Service, Menus, Guest Names, and Table Plan, will need to be typed and either sent by email in a Microsoft Word document or handed in to Pink Treacle when they are required.

Once the proof has been checked by you, the sample check form will need to be signed and dated and returned to Pink Treacle before any further work can commence.

Please note that any extra time taken confirming the proofs may delay the delivery of your order.  I tend to allow 5-7 days to confirm proofing.


If you delay in paying your deposit or supplying the necessary information to proceed, such as approving proofs, your order may be delayed.

Pink Treacle cannot be held responsible for any delays in your order caused by circumstances beyond the control of Pink Treacle.

Checking Proofs

It is extremely important that all proofs are carefully checked to ensure there are no mistakes.

Points to check are: people’s names, dates, times, venues, R.S.V.P. dates and addresses, punctuation and spelling.

If mistakes are noticed, they need to be identified and corrected on your sample check form.

If mistakes are noticed after you have sent off your sample check form or when the order has gone into production, you may incur an extra charge.


All prices for bespoke work are individual.

Illustrations and maps are all individually priced and your requirements will need to be discussed.

All illustrations and designs remain the copyright of Pink Treacle and may be used for marketing purposes.

The bespoke service will obviously take longer than choosing a design from the stationery boutique, so I would recommend you don’t leave it any later than 6 months before your wedding to start discussing your requirements.
